False Alarm! It wasn't MRSA...

Kombucha is now ready.  I took a probiotic
break and all havoc happens to my body:(
Here's an update on the MRSA they thought I had.  Well after two hospitalizations and a lot of iv steroids,  and antibiotics which put my body through havoc, I am now recovering.  However, I find out after I dragged my tired body to the doctor yesterday, that I tested negative for MRSA.  Thank God, but they think it was an outbreak of shingles again.  It's not as painful as before when I did have shingles two years ago.  I just have to recouperate from all the drugs that gave me steroidal diabetes and high blood pressure while I taking the meds.  Now, my sugar is at 106 (not fasting), and my blood pressure is back to normal. Thank God again.  But my body is depleted of all the healthy bacteria...which means I have to get back on my kombucha, kifer and probiotics.

I think that the probiotics have been warding off most off my previously illness.  I did take a probiotic break for two months and look what happens.  I am now brewing another batch of kombucha.  It should be ready by tomorrow.  I just had to start from scratch so the SCOBY (SYMBIOTIC CULTURE OF BACTERIA AND YEAST) mother could grow her babies. I started as soon as I got out of the hospital.

See, if I am quiet I can listen to my body, and follow my spirit, I know what I must do.  Once I get back on my homemade probiotics my strength will be up to par.  Before I leave, I want to jump for joy that I am still showing no sign of diabetes after having it for about 15 years. Yay!!!  I must be doing something right.  Right?  Natural probiotics folks!!!

Yum homemade kombucha...ahh, homemade probiotics.
Now I'm a happy camper:))
I just had to share because I did have a few viewers who visited this blog.  It's just an update:)  Also, perhaps anyone out there has had something similar that they can relate to and or would like to share or comment, please feel free to do so.

Well that's it for now.  Many blessings

Sincerely,

Mary Helen
